In particular, finding out about new exciting products from the consumer electronics sector makes your eyes light up? On top of that, you’ve got over five years of experience across diverse fields, working agency or client side, in marketing, planning and/or market research? You’re searching for a challenging, high-level senior position that comes with a lot of responsibility but also plenty of room to foster your own ideas and projects?
The Company
We are an independent, research-based strategic consultancy with an international focus. Running creative workshops, conjuring up market access plans and tweaking glossy major brands’ advertising to the max is what we do on a daily basis. We use (mainly) qualitative research in all its forms as a springboard. Of course, to ensure an elegant dive, this must be of Olympic standard – at the very least.
We all come from different backgrounds, but what unites us is that we are really into communication. We prefer to talk to people rather than “consumers” or “patients” or “KOLs”. And in quite the same way that we empathise with people, we also empathise with brands.
The Job
You will take on full responsibility for our Lifestyle & Electronics Business Unit. That will involve everything it takes to make things run smoothly, whether this concerns project work or the business end of things. To put it more precisely:
· From drawing up compelling proposals to picking out the best, most creative mix of methods right up to presenting in the client’s boardroom – you’re the one in charge from the beginning to the end of a research project
· You’ve got a real knack for networking and finding new business opportunities – perhaps you’ve already got some interesting contacts
· We (and our clients, too) really want to be wowed by your presentations – in delivery, depth of analysis as well as design
· There is a good chance that soon you’ll be supervising your own Lifestyle & Electronics research team, so ideally you’ll be excited about taking others under your wing
· Keeping up with the relevant literature is one thing, but perhaps you’d like to contribute to it too? Whether it’s in insightful papers or captivating conference talks – you know how to make the company and your ideas shine
· We work with mainly international clients, so you’ll need to be an excellent cultural translator, not just adept at identifying issues but great at coming up with cunning strategies to circumvent (or harness!) them

We do whatever it takes to raise the bar in research. As a Business Unit Manager, you’ll take a leading role in helping us achieve this. But don’t worry, we also like to enjoy a nice beer in the evening.
